Decades ago, Isabelle and Matthieu planted Mourvèdre on southeast-facing terraces, using cuttings from exceptional Bandol vineyards, forming them into stumpy, gobelet-trained vines. Today, Noémie treats them with the reverence they deserve and crafts a robust, soulful, and exquisite rouge with notes of dark fruit, spice, and leather.

Thanks to the vines’ elevation and crucial cool nighttime temperatures, her blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Clairette, and Viognier delivers plenty of character and refreshment.

Decades ago, Isabelle and Matthieu planted a little bit of Cabernet Franc as a curiosity more than anything else, but Kermit liked it so much we’ve imported it ever since.

Equal parts Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre, this boasts all of Maxime’s trademark elegance and silkiness.

Made mostly from Syrah—with a splash of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault—this cuvée is all about the terroir. Along with soulful, dark fruit, you can taste the stoniness in the wine. Cool it down, decant it in any kind of vase you have handy, and serve it the next time you fire up your grill.

After aging for eight years, it’s now in a spot where the fruit recalls savory plums and baked cherries.

At once similarly saline and nutty as vin jaune or sherry, but also singular and standalone in its notes of watermelon flesh and rind.
